StartUpLift Review

I’m pretty busy with things today so this is going to be a fairly short review. This website is pretty easy to navigate anyway so there’s not much to be said about it.
What it is: StartUpLift is a website that offers people to submit starter websites (these sites are almost always offering a service of some type. These aren’t forums or blogs) for people to review. The people submitting the starter sites have to pay to use the service but the reviewers get paid to do reviews.
Who can join: There doesn’t appear to be any age or location restrictions for people who can join but you do have to be able to read and write fluent English. Also some websites that are submitted for review may only target a US audience so keep that in mind (The target audience is clearly stated in each site description).
What you need to apply: The only thing you need to make an account is a Paypal account and an email address.
Cost to sign up: There is no cost to sign up if you are only signing up to give reviews. If you’re interested in submitting your website for review then there is a fee (between $79-99) to sign up.
How much you can make: StartUpLift is set up to where the 10 best reviews (in the order in which they were submitted) get paid. The top 5 reviews all get paid $5 each. The next 5 reviews will get paid $2 each. Every other review after that doesn’t get paid. There is usually a time limit in which reviews can be submitted to get considered for the cash award (anywhere from 5 days to more than 3 weeks) but time is of the essence so it’s best to get the review in early if the site seems interesting enough to review.
There is no minimum payout on StartUpLift. They pay their users (through Paypal) every Monday if there is any cash in their account. The drawback to this is that the site owners can take as long as they want to decide who gets the awards so you could end up waiting a month after doing a review just to find out if you were one of the 10 chosen to get the cash award (This is one of the few things I don’t like. If you need 5 quick dollars then try Postloop).
Ways to get the payout faster: There is no referral program with StartUpLift so all you can do is just keep doing reviews. Reviews that are clear, to the point and answer all the questions of the site owners are more likely to get selected for awards (There’s also the incentive of whatever service they offer too and since they are in a trial mode you might end up with something free for your trouble). StartUpLift limits users to doing only 5 reviews per day but from experience, I will say that it’s not likely to see even more than 5-6 new submitted websites in a week so there really isn’t too much concern with going over the daily limit.
Sign up to StartUpLift here (Don’t be alarmed by the Wordpress looking signup page. Just create a username and password like you normally would)
