It's been several weeks since I've offered some thoughts on the numbers, so I'll leave a few here.

The BET Awards is substantially weaker than past years and it is not lost on people that the event saw it's peak exactly 10 years ago (Ironically, I say this on June 25th of all days, but that is the reason why the peak will never be replicated).

I was wary of VH1 getting back into Tuesday nights, but I have a feeling that this may be laying the groundwork to survive the summer. This will be a very weird summer with a lot of specials (particularly linked to politics) and other networks have to make the decision to either counter program or take those nights off. So far, Black Ink Crew Chicago has struggled on the Tuesday move, but there was some recovery from last week. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for Claws or Dance Moms. Those shows are off to a very rocky start this season.

I included the 2 highest numbers from the MTV Movie & TV Awards. Every other Viacom network saw numbers of less than 400,000 viewers for their simulcasts.

I probably should have pushed harder to have this up 6 hours ago, but life is different now. These late posts are going to be a thing now.

I wish I had some comments for this week's numbers, but my time is short and my thoughts are elsewhere.
