Better late than never with this. I've got other things to do anyway so I'm glad I had most of this already typed up.
1. The Voice (11.90 million 4.4)- Although The Voice had a very good season for NBC it is down from last season. NBC really needs to be worried about not burning this show out since it’s now the only in-season show they have (excluding football) that gets over a 3.0 in the demo.
2. Let’s Stay Together (1.520 million 0.8)- This show doesn’t really get too much love at all but it’s a rare accomplishment for any BET show to see a 3rd season and that should be acknowledged.
3. Couples Therapy (450,000 0.3)- There really is no justifiable reason for this show to come back since apparently it was hard enough for VH1 to scrape together the cast they ended up getting.
4. America’s Best Dance Crew (1.101 million 0.5)- MTV hasn’t really treated this show well the last couple of seasons and this season is showing signs of that mistreatment. I’m not sure what MTV will decide to do with this show.
5. Total Blackout (1.400 million 0.6)- Syfy looks like they have a pretty decent show here. It’s showing signs of growth and growth is always good for a new show.
6. The Secret Circle (1.28 million 0.6)- There isn’t much of a surprise why this show got canceled. It was the one CW show that fell the hardest (especially since January) with the most help over the course of its season and in the end the CW felt there was no chance for this show to do better anywhere else.
7. Once Upon a Time (9.66 million 3.3)- This show will be fine next season. ABC will need to push it a little but I think it will be fine. My concern is with Revenge.
8. Revenge (7.01 million 2.2)- Other than Football Revenge’s broadcast competition should be light. My concern lies with cable where it will be also competing with all of those strong, somewhat female skewing shows. That plus ABC’s penchant for erratic scheduling could have this show on life support by March (a 2.2 demo now could easily be a 1.7 this time next year and that would be troubling). ABC will have to give this show a push as if it was a brand new show over the summer.
9. Celebrity Apprentice (5.48 million 1.8)- NBC might be doing something smart by cutting this show down to an hour next season but what remains to be seen is how many flops they will have between September and January that will force a change.
10. Tanisha Gets Married (519,000 0.2)- I waited until this week to say something because I wanted to see how the second week would do. Now that I have seen it I will say it’s early but this show is starting to look like another Love Games for Oxygen (They can’t win it seems).
