Who knew there would be something to talk about for some shows that air on Fridays? [Full List Here]
1. Revenge (6.96 million 2.0)- This could have actually been much worse coming off of its hiatus but it’s not that bad and it was actually up from the last new episode. Still have to see what the numbers do from now until the end of the season.
2. Cult (680,000 0.2)- First Friday episode and it’s not a good one. It was dead when it was on Tuesday and now it’s becoming more and more of a formality now.
3. Switched at Birth (1.752 million 0.8)- So this gets a little 3 month break (So Secret Life can finish its run) and now it will come back in June paired up with a brand new show to see if ABC Family can have a better shot at trying to find a new hit show than they did with Bunheads.
4. Spartacus: War of the Damned (874,000 0.3)- I just left this in here to keep the Friday show theme going. There is really no point at all in trying to scrutinize the numbers anymore when the show will be ending in a few weeks.
5. Grimm (4.90 million 1.5)- After a 4 month break these aren’t the best numbers but they certainly aren’t the worst either. This is NBC we’re talking about where there will be a couple of shows (most likely comedies) that will get renewed getting lower numbers than this.
6. Golden Boy (Tuesday: 9.40 million 1.6; Friday: 7.41 million 1.0)- Pay no attention to those total viewers. I am serious. Do not pay attention to the total viewers of this show because those will have you to believe the show is doing well. On CBS, know that most of their shows have a lot of total viewers but most of them at least have acceptable demos to match. This doesn’t and it’s on notice and probably will not be renewed come May.
7. Real Husbands of Hollywood (1.827 million 1.0)- No surprise here why BET renewed this show. It almost felt like the decision was made weeks ago and they just took a little time to get things together before finally deciding to announce it.
8. Fashion Star (2.96 million 0.8)- This is bad even for Fridays. While it didn’t appear to really affect Grimm all that much there had to have been some regret coming from NBC because this was originally supposed to air on Sundays with Celebrity Apprentice.
9. The Client List (2.212 million 0.9)- From what I’ve seen this is just about in the same area as last season’s premiere so it’s a good thing that the show was off so long and against a fair bit of competition and was able to come back decently. Now we just have to see where the numbers go from here and see if it can avoid a sophomore slump.
10. Bad Girls Club: Atlanta (1.223 million 0.6)- It doesn’t look like this show is going to do too much better this season. Perhaps the reunion shows may do better but any improvement then most likely won’t be able to lift the show to get back to that 1.5 million viewer average that the show has seen the past few seasons.
