It was quite an active month for television and the next 4 are sure to be more of the same. Other than the change I explained last month, there aren't any other major changes though I have decided to phase out Food Network shows (going by my searches not many people care so the shows already on here from that network will stay either until they are decided on or their 9 months have passed but no new shows will be added). As always, any decisions that come down today (1/31) will be reflected in the post.

Perhaps some of us have seen that article that manages to circulate around the internet every year where it says that people are most depressed on January 24th and the reason is usually attributed to the stress of holiday bills and whatnot (whose fault is that though? Did everyone in the family really need a new Samsung Galaxy S III? Exactly. You cry over your new $250 phone bill while I’ve already given away the useless crap I got for Christmas and didn’t want because I already made it clear that Christmas sucks). Maybe there’s truth to it. Who can blame people for being depressed when humanity appears to sink to lower and lower levels every single day?

I'm in a horrible mood. That's not to say I have days where I'm in a good mood but the last few weeks have been quite horrendous and it's bothering me. When things bother me I always tell myself I need to write more and that's what this is. It's a somewhat serious yet somewhat satirical take on things people should never say to people like me lest they get the responses I've written below (If you're offended by cursing this is not the post for you).

I'm actually not confused about what day it is today. I would pat myself on the back but I don't see the point in doing so.

The good thing about this time of year is that I can pick out a bunch of shows and just write on them without having to wait on 1-2 other shows. [Full List Here]

Last month with all the shows that were ending their seasons I wondered if I would be able to find 10 shows airing more than 3 episodes that hadn’t already been decided on. Needless to say the answer was no. I had 3 shows but that wouldn’t have made an interesting post because I think all 3 will be renewed (for the record those 3 shows are Real Housewives of Atlanta, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Shahs of Sunset).

Take a week off and there's delays :: sighs :: I should mention that there's a reason why a lot of the just premiered cable shows are not on here and all will be revealed on Thursday (Forgive the lack of info on the ABC Family shows. Still waiting on those). [Full List Here]
