10 Ratings Blurbs 1/8/13 Edition

Take a week off and there's delays :: sighs :: I should mention that there's a reason why a lot of the just premiered cable shows are not on here and all will be revealed on Thursday (Forgive the lack of info on the ABC Family shows. Still waiting on those). [Full List Here]

1. Switched At Birth (1.697 million 0.7)- So this show came back just a tiny bit above what it was getting from the end of last season. Stability is important here but ABC Family will have a clearer picture of where they stand when the Tuesday numbers come in.

2. Here Comes Honey Boo Boo (3.083 million 1.3)- TLC has their cash cow and all of us who are in dissent will just be damned. To get series high numbers from a Halloween special in January is madness.

3. The Big Bang Theory (19.25 million 6.1)- This show seems to just keep getting bigger every season. I’ve seen around that this is actually a series high for the show and it’s pretty much a given that if American Idol doesn’t return with stronger numbers than last season then this will be the highest rated (non-sports) broadcast show for the season.

4. Bunheads (1.234 million 0.5)- The good news is that this didn't really fall off from the hiatus. The bad news is that the numbers it was pulling before the hiatus weren't that great then so this might be a show that ends up in some trouble down the line.

5. Deception (5.66 million 2.0)- Depending on who you ask some people will say this is bad and other people will say it’s just ok. I’m one of the people who thinks this is just ok and it will continue to be ok as long as that demo doesn’t fall below 1.6.

6. Once Upon A Time (9.10 million 3.1)- This is a pretty decent return. There’s nothing about these numbers that should truly disappoint ABC not that they really have a reason to be disappointed with this show.

7. Real Housewives of Atlanta (3.670 million 1.8)- Yes Bravo knew what they were doing when they made this move. They are scared of The Walking Dead.

8. Nashville (3.97 million 1.2)- I’m starting to get tired of being proven right when it comes to clip/recap shows. I know they are just for filler but it’s time to find new filler that people will actually watch and can at least do better than reruns.

9. Two and a Half Men (15.41 million 4.5)- These numbers are just now starting to resemble what CBS hoped for when they paired this with The Big Bang Theory. Sure they may have made Monday’s weaker for that decision but they appear to be vindicated and happy with the result now.

10. Revenge (7.12 million 2.4)- Like Once Upon A Time, ABC doesn’t really have a reason to be disappointed with these numbers either. They had an idea of what to expect from its fall numbers and that is basically what they got.
