Press Release Translations 3

If there’s one thing I hate more than unnecessary spin (especially tonight with this election), it is math. I do not like math and that’s why I gotta do another translation today [Press Release Here].

OXYGEN'S RATINGS SOAR ON MONDAY NIGHTS AS "BAD GIRLS CLUB" MEXICO FINISHES WITH NEARLY 2 MILLION VIEWERS AND SEASON FOUR PREMIERE OF "LOVE GAMES: BAD GIRLS NEED LOVE TOO" EARNS 1.2 MILLION VIEWERS, UP TRIPLE DIGITS

Translation: Hooray! We actually did well! Are you excited just like we are yet?!

"Bad Girls Club" Ranks As The Most Social Series On Broadcast & Cable For The Night

Translation: Everyone who likes this show is on Twitter, Tumblr and Facebook.

NEW YORK - November 6, 2012 - Oxygen's ratings momentum continues on Monday nights as the conclusion of "Bad Girls Club" Mexico reunion part three delivered 1.9 million total viewers and 1.1 million adults 18-49, according to Nielsen. The series also dominated conversations online becoming the most social series on broadcast and cable for the night, according to SocialGuide. In addition, Oxygen was the #1 cable entertainment network in the 10pm hour among women 18-34 (out-delivering CBS and ABC) and women 18-49. Through 13 telecasts on a Live+7 basis, the series has delivered 10 telecasts with over 2 million total viewers. Adding to the night's success, the season four premiere of "Love Games: Bad Girls Need Love Too" earned nearly 1.2 million total viewers, up triple digits with an 106 percent increase compared to the season three premiere and an impressive 111 percent increase compared to the prior four week time period average. The premiere marked the network's second highest rated telecast in the Monday 11pm time period among adults 18-34 and total viewers (behind the "Love Games: Bad Girls Need Love Too" season three finale on 1/23/12).

Translation: Bad Girls Club did supremely well as usual and we are immensely happy about more younger women watching this show than lame Hawaii 5-O and stupid cop show Castle. Also we are very pleased that we trended on Twitter because even though it means nothing it makes us feel really good. Now on to Love Games….well the season 3 premiere ratings were crap. Major crap. We will never premiere Love Games without Bad Girls Club ever again because see….look how well it did. Almost 1.2 million viewers is like megahit status for us. Just please don’t pay attention to almost 1.2 million…it’s close enough to 1.2 million that you need to commit that number to memory. 1.2 million. Yep.

Next week on "Love Games: Bad Girls Need Love Too" on Monday, November 12 at 10PM ET/PT, the guys drive the girls crazy when the sexual tension is ramped up after an arousing visit from a sex therapist. Taylor and Joey stir up major drama in the house with a rumor about a rival competitor and cause a major brawl between the boys.

Translation: Here’s what next week’s episode is about. Please note the regular time change for this. Please please please please.

Immediately following, "My Shopping Addiction" returns on Monday, November 12 at 11PM ET/PT with image-obsessed Seth who is squandering his parent's retirement savings and creating a family crisis and Ashley who is unemployed and left with nowhere to live after getting kicked out of her house for excessive shopping.

Translation: Don’t forget about this show that we love because it didn’t flop behind Bad Girls Club….Oh what the hell, we are praying that this show has an audience by now. We will even take 650,000 viewers next week just for goodness sakes don’t forget about it!

"Bad Girls Club" returns for season 10 on a new night and time beginning on Tuesday, January 15 at 8 PM ET/PT with a fresh batch of seven alpha females ready to take on Atlanta.

Translation: Yes we’re back in 2 months! Get ready because we are taking back Tuesdays! Ok well we figured out that Mondays are hard and VH1 is handing us our asses. Tuesday is easier an at 8pm we can try our damn hardest to launch a show behind this and have it count towards our primetime average. We messed up and that and we will try to fix that in 2013.
