In my opinion, the premiere ratings for these broadcast shows have mostly been a dud. There are a few exceptions of course but I'll be the first to say that this list doesn't accurately reflect how underwhelming broadcast ratings have been as a whole (mostly because I try to keep the list as balanced as possible).

The start of the new broadcast season has been quiet so far. I think it's because people are looking for mega hits and I don't think they are going to find them in this new crop of shows. Also if last night was any indication, a lot of returning shows are going to struggle hard.

I guess you can consider this to be the last slow week until perhaps right before Thanksgiving.

One of these days I will remember that Monday holidays push everything back to Wednesday.
