Ratings: March 13th-19th 2018

I'm running behind today and my focus isn't all the way there. I just realized how short a full list would be about an hour ago. I'll leave some thoughts on a few shows and I'll go with a list this week.

Love & Hip Hop Atlanta- These numbers are down about a million viewers from last season's premiere (It's actually the lowest rated premiere since season 1). It's quite surprising because it's never happened with this show before. This was always the ace in the hole for VH1 and now, this show may not perform that much better than the most recent seasons of New York and Hollywood. The race to #1 may have finally gotten interesting.

Love & Hip Hop Miami- Numbers are up a little over last week, but I think VH1 may have hoped for more. It did as well as it could do given the situation. I've said that I believe the show will return. I think that VH1 only has two viable scheduling options when it comes to this franchise as a whole. If they want all the shows to air on Monday nights, the three veteran shows will need episode cuts (12 episodes max per season) to get all four shows to fit without any show being off the air for more than a year. If they still have eyes towards further franchise expansion (more main shows in new cities, not 30 minute shows featuring cast members), VH1 may have to start looking to Bravo and their Real Housewives shows as inspiration and just cycle shows on their own individual nights at various points of the year. I tend to lean towards the former being the better option because their veterans are older and none are ratings blockbusters anymore.

Little Women Atlanta- One of the more surprising results of the last week. The numbers were way up over what the show has done most of this season.

RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars- Finale numbers were down quite a bit. Not sure what the cause was, but I'm sure the numbers will rebound when the new season of Drag Race begins later this week.

How to Get Away with Murder- I do still believe the show survives this season, but I think that if ABC renews the show, they need to do it with the belief that next season is the final season.
