Generally speaking, the numbers do not look dramatically different from last week. Unlike most weeks, I don't know what to make of this kind of stability. I'll explain.

Daylight Savings Time began last Sunday. Traditionally, that ushers in a sharp drop in primetime ratings. There's some evidence of that in the shows that aired Sunday-Tuesday and less evidence of that in shows that aired after that point. The Coronavirus outbreak has dominated the news and exploded roughly last Wednesday (when the NBA announced the suspension of their season. Since then, all other major professional and collegiate US sports leagues have announced suspensions or postponements of their seasons). So far, news networks have seen their numbers rise over the last week. However, as more places begin to impose curfews and restrictions to outside leisure activities, it might be something to watch if any or all other genres of TV start to benefit by more people staying home and looking for things to take their minds off of the crazy world going on around us. I'll be looking out for that over the next month.
