Ratings: January 28th- February 3rd, 2020

The Super Bowl was up from last year, but still nowhere near its highs from several years ago. I'm not entirely sure it's a matchup issue. I think the NFL got the game they wanted, the halftime act wasn't the worst (but I have no suggestions there, I never watch halftime), and I'm not entirely sure that the TV environment allows for those record highs anymore. I can't say it will never happen again, but with ratings down everywhere, it's hard to see things setting records in the future.

On a personal note, I'm taking the rest of the month off from these posts. I'll update the VH1 numbers at some point, but some very important personal obligations are going to keep me away from here.
