I am much too tired and occupied with other things to try to find a picture for this post today. In the meantime try to have a good weekend and don't overdose on the news because it will make you go crazy. No joke.

Having a holiday on the last day of the month is probably the most terrible way to end a month. Just terrible I tell you.

Another exhausting week to get to yet another uneventful Friday.

You know this 'holiday' is irrelevant when you were fully aware that it was coming 2 weeks ago and still it somehow snuck up on you. I guess Corporate America needs yet another year to figure out how they can truly commercialize this day (They did it for President's Day. I'm sure they can come up with something here).

I think I’m going to use this week to go back and revisit some of the posts that I have written over the past year because obviously people have learned nothing (I’m not mailing this week in. There was plenty of time for that last week and probably the week before that too. Anyway I just don’t have time to put much thought into this because I’m working on something very important and trying damn hard to stick to the deadline I set for myself.)

Before I get started, forgive me for using this picture again. It's the only one I have on hand of a show that was recently canceled. Now that's out of the way. I suppose if you're reading this you know that this television season has been particularly brutal (especially on the broadcast side) of shows getting canceled immediately. I personally don't have a vested interest in shows getting renewed or canceled because I don't actually watch them. I suppose that because I only look at ratings it kind of puts me in somewhat of a bubble where I only determine a show's worth on how well it's doing and if it looks like it's going to get canceled then quite frankly I'm sitting here counting down the days until it happens. It's not my intention to use this post to ramble so basically I'm just going to make a list of the biggest qualms I see across the internet about why people lament the cancellation of shows and then offer an answer to that. If that list happens to be long then so be it because unlike most of my posts, I'm writing it as I go along.

I haven't been quite right all week and yet it is Friday already. Another week lost. SMH.

Instead of just writing an organized essay about gun violence in Chicago I’m going to just give you 5 reasons why the people who are getting louder and louder on the news and internet won’t get the answers they seek from President Obama (or any other important figurehead for that matter) when he speaks on the issue today. It’s my belief that because these five reasons are the true source of the problem there is not one person in this world who can say anything to make these people suddenly just wake up and stop.

Of all the days out of the year that I dislike hands down this one has to be the worst one of them all.

Today I don't care for pictures. I don't care for doing much of anything and I will act according to how I feel starting right now.

Perhaps some of us have seen that article that manages to circulate around the internet every year where it says that people are most depressed on January 24th and the reason is usually attributed to the stress of holiday bills and whatnot (whose fault is that though? Did everyone in the family really need a new Samsung Galaxy S III? Exactly. You cry over your new $250 phone bill while I’ve already given away the useless crap I got for Christmas and didn’t want because I already made it clear that Christmas sucks). Maybe there’s truth to it. Who can blame people for being depressed when humanity appears to sink to lower and lower levels every single day?

I'm in a horrible mood. That's not to say I have days where I'm in a good mood but the last few weeks have been quite horrendous and it's bothering me. When things bother me I always tell myself I need to write more and that's what this is. It's a somewhat serious yet somewhat satirical take on things people should never say to people like me lest they get the responses I've written below (If you're offended by cursing this is not the post for you).

I'm actually not confused about what day it is today. I would pat myself on the back but I don't see the point in doing so.

I have absolutely nothing profound to say today so I will just leave my thoughts here so I can go back in lurk mode for the weekend.

Having a bad day. Don't want to talk about it (Maybe I'll go walk it off in the rain).

New Year, new me right? Ah no.

Something doesn't seem right about ending the year on a Monday. It's like a sign that like the rest of the week, the new year will be backwards as hell (I'm not ready for that).

This is atrocious, Construction paper costs like 3.99 and I'm sure you could get a better result than that.

I just woke up and I heard about this terrible story (which I'm sure if you have access to internet or a TV you can find out what's going on). I hate when people kill each other. I really do but there is nothing I hate more than a person who kills an innocent child (or in this case children). Seriously what the hell is wrong with people (I have other choice words but in all honesty I will keep them quiet because many of them are quite harsh and offensive).
