2012 Cable Show Scorecard: Part 1

I promised this list and now it's finally here. I'll try to keep things at a minimum because there's a lot of information here but some important things...

- This list only contains cable shows have aired or their fates were decided upon from August, 2011- May 23rd 2012

- Currently airing shows are not included unless they have been renewed for another season

- I have excluded specials, talk shows, awards shows, most sports programs, shows that air on Saturdays, most shows that air at or after 11pm and shows on networks that I don't regularly see ratings for (I will take special requests in the comments but they won't be added to the post)

- I plan to do this every month so future lists probably won't need to be broken up

- For the purpose of this post renewed shows include shows that are about to start airing new seasons (Example. When you see Single Ladies under renewed it means it was renewed for the season 2 that is about to start airing. Should you see this post long after May 25, 2012 it does not mean the show has been renewed for a season 3. If that happens it will be addressed in a future post)

- See this post for why I label some shows as renewed and why other shows (namely the VH1 and Bravo wives shows) are undecided.

- The 8 month rule means 8 full months. Since last August was 9 months ago that means the 8 months have passed and I have moved the corresponding shows the canceled column (For next month's post all the undecided shows that ended in September will move into the canceled column).

- In case you are confused with which list you're looking at just know that Blue= renewed; yellow=undecided/on hiatus; red=canceled (These colors are not brighter on purpose because I'm sure it would hurt your eyes)
